My involvement with TLC occurred when they were advertising for Board members and felt that I might be able to contribute something as I had experience with sitting as a Board member of other organisations as a Secretary, President and an ordinary member.
Assisting others in the community brings me much pleasure and as a member of the Rutherford Lioness Club and in my daily work organising a Friendship Club for the frail aged, and younger persons with a disability in the community I am able to do this.
I have been fortunate that over the past few years my passions and interests have crossed into my working life.
I am married to David; a mother and a grandmother with another grandchild on the way.
